Typically, donkeys can pull a load equivalent to roughly twice their body weight on level terrain.
When it comes to the weight they can bear on their backs, a general guideline suggests that a burro should not carry more than 20% to 25% of its body weight. At Black Tie Burro, we adhere to a conservative approach and restrict the load to up to approximately 30-40 pounds
If hired as Beverage Burro - equivalent to 12-14 beers with ice on each side.
Should the load remain within reasonable limits, we can get as creative as you would like.
